Scanner Model - Select the relevant model of your scanner. If your scanner is not in this list, you can choose 'Custom' and specify the time needed for making scans with different resolutions.

Setup Resolution – All scanner models have different settings for scan resolution. Here, I have selected the most popular settings:

Leica BLK360: Low = 25mm@10m; Medium = 12mm@10m; High = 6mm@10m

Note: Leica BLK360 also has a setting of 50mm@10m.

• Leica RTC360: Low = 12mm@10m; Medium = 6mm@10m; High = 3mm@10m

Note: When using High-Resolution mode with the Leica RTC360, the maximum range will be reduced to 65m.

• Leica ScanStation Pxx: Low = 12mm@10m; Medium = 6mm@10m; High = 3mm@10m

Note: The Leica ScanStation P50 has 4 different range modes: 120m, 270m, 570m, and 1000m. Each mode has a different scanning speed, meaning the same resolution will take different amounts of time depending on the selected range mode. In the calculator, the time specified is for the 120m range mode.

Panoramic Images – Different scanners have different modes for capturing images:

• Leica BLK360 has Low Dynamic Range (8 sec) and High Dynamic Range (20 sec).

• Leica RTC360 has only High Dynamic Range (60 sec).

• Leica ScanStation Pxx has Low Dynamic Range (10 min) and High Dynamic Range (14 min). But that scanner has an option to limit the imaging area. With a limited area, the time will be significantly lower.

If you select the Custom scanner, these options are not available. Simply add the required imaging time to the time from the previous step.
