Cloud & Mesh_Manual Room Contour tool generates a polyline contour based on the selected cloud/meshes for walls and the floor. The main difference between Mesh_Manual Room Contour and Mesh_Auto Room Contour is that, with the Manual option, you manually define the order of line connections. With the Auto option, the script defines the order automatically.
Requirements:
Select at least 4 clouds/meshes related to walls and 1 cloud/mesh related to the floor.
Steps:
Select multiple clouds/meshes for walls and a single cloud/mesh for the floor. Optionally, you may also select a single cloud/mesh for the ceiling. (For each wall, only one object should be selected.)
Run the script and select the Cloud&Mesh_Manual Room Contour option.
The script will hide the floor and ceiling meshes and prompt you to select each wall in the correct order, moving clockwise.
Select the plane representing the first wall. Repeat this process for the second wall in a clockwise direction, and so on, until all walls are specified.
Notes:
If you select a cloud/mesh related to the ceiling, the difference between the floor and the ceiling will later be used as the height value when generating the extruded room mesh model.
Only one cloud/mesh should be selected for each wall. If multiple objects represent the same wall, try to select the largest one.
