Polyline - 2D Mesh

The Polyline_2D Mesh tool generates the plane mesh from the selected polylines

Requirements:

Select multiple polylines before running the script

Steps:

Select multiple polylines representing the room contour in each room. (These contours can be created easily using the Mesh_Auto Room Contour tool.)
Run the script and select the Polyline_2D Mesh option.
A plane mesh will be generated for each selected contour

Notes:

The generated mesh can be used for room area surface extraction. To do this:

Keep only the relevant mesh segment, select it, and apply the Mesh_Area Surface tool.

If you have a scenario where you need to extrude some elements within the room (columns, sub walls, elevator shafts, etc.), do the following:

Select the mesh and all projected polylines.
Run the standard Cyclone 3DR Cut Mesh tool.
Mesh will be cut by the selected polyline
