Polyline - Edit Namings

The Polyline_Edit Namings tool allows users to rename selected polylines using a predefined catalog of room names. It provides visual highlighting for each polyline during the renaming process and ensures that associated groups (Contours, Meshes, and Planes) are updated accordingly.

Requirements: 

• Select multiple polyline before running the script

Steps:

1. Select one or more polylines representing room contours.

2. Run the Polyline_Edit Namings script and follow the on-screen dialogs.

3. Configure naming options (e.g., enable auto-numbering or add a prefix).

For each selected polyline:

• A red transparent highlight will appear for visual identification.

• A dialog will prompt you to choose a name from the catalog, keep the current name, or enter a custom name.

• The polyline will be renamed accordingly.

• Associated groups (Contours, Meshes, and Planes) will be updated to reflect the new name.

Notes:

• Auto-numbering helps avoid duplicate names by appending numbers (e.g., "Toilet 1", "Toilet 2").

• Prefixes can be added to organize names by floor or zone (e.g., "GF_Living Room").

• The tool ensures consistency across related elements by updating group names for meshes and planes.

• A summary of used names is displayed upon completion.
