Add 2D Door. Part of Walls _Construction Tools. This script inserts a 2D door opening into a selected wall rectangle and generates four possible door swing configurations. The user can interactively choose the desired opening direction.

Requirements: 

• Wall rectangles must be present in the project (e.g., using the Cloud & Mesh - Create Walls )

• Each rectangle must have a centerline named in the format Center_<width> (e.g., Center_0.300). 

Steps:

1. Run the Script

• Launch from the Walls_Construction Tools menu. The script enters loop mode.
  
  

2. Select Wall Rectangle

• Click on a wall rectangle where the door will be inserted.

• The script visualizes the wall direction with a yellow line.
  
  

3. Select Door Edge Points

• Click two points on the wall to define the door opening.

• These points are projected onto the wall axis to ensure alignment.
  
  

4. Create Door Opening

• A cyan rectangle is created between the projected points.

• This represents the door opening and is grouped under Doors.

• Four configurations are created

• Select Door Opening Direction. Click on the line or arc of the desired configuration.

Notes:

• Press ESC at any time to exit loop mode.

• Minimum input: one wall and two edge points.

• Recommended door width: based on wall dimensions and spacing.
